Cape Banded White Throat Monitor (Varanus albigularis)
These semi-arboreal Cape Banded White Throat Monitors are very tamable and make fabulous pets! There are high energy lizards that are closely related to the Savannah Monitor. The white-throated monitor has a dorsal surface that is normally spotted with five to six rows of pale yellow, darkly highlighted blotches. These guys have a dark yellow belly that is also spotted.
